---------- When You're Wrong About Vengeance ----------
A poor man who was once oppressed by a rich man unexpectedly became richer himself so he came back with a vengeance. He wanted to confront the rich man to let him know that the poor man that he was before is now richer than him.
He wants to humiliate him in front of people
more than he used to be humiliated but the rich man told him, "Remember that you became rich because of me." Very confused, he asked right away, "And why is that so? You always pushed me to the ground and trampled on me but I became determined and worked my way up to become the richer man that I am today." "Exactly!" the rich man replied. "If I wasn't cruel and ruthless to you before, then you wouldn't be encouraged to work hard and be determined to become who you are today." ---------- Moral Of The Story ---------- Instead of taking revenge, thank the people who mistreat you before because they help make you who you are today.

---------- The Sick Man ----------
A sick man went from one doctor to another in the hope that he will be cured of his cancer. He was a very rich businessman and was suffering for many years. But his every visit to the hospital was nothing but hopelessness and despair for he was always told that he will never recover. So he tried alternative medicine where he was given natural food supplements and all the herbal remedies. But still he was not getting well and instead, it made him weaker and sicker.
Then one day,
as he laid on his bed with darkness and gloom all over his face, he cried bitterly and asked himself why he wasn't cured when he already went to the most modern and most advanced hospitals, and treated by the best and most experienced doctors. He couldn't believe that he was already dying. And as he was about to die, he had a vision where he heard Somebody speaking to him: "You said you went to the best doctor but you didn't." So he trembled and asked, "Who are you?" The voice replied, "I made you sick so that you will call on me and cure you right away. I waited for you to pray to me but you never did even once. I could have cured you and given you new life for I am the best doctor there is in this world." At this point, he was full of fear and unable to say a word. "Because you never acknowledged my power to heal you will end your life right this moment and you will go down to the world of the dead where you'll be waiting for Judgment Day when the living and the dead will be judged according to their deeds. And all the wealth you amassed will be given to those who have reverence for Me." So he died that very day in great pain and great misery. ---------- Moral Of The Story ---------- God The Father Almighty is always and forever will be the greatest doctor who heals all diseases and sicknesses of mankind. You can trust the doctors, but you should trust God so much more.
---------- The Old Man ----------
An old man stood at the side of the road waiting for somebody to give him a free ride. A hundred cars have already passed him by, but nobody offered him no matter how persistent he waved his arms to stop them all.
It was already noon when the sun was hottest on him
when a young guy at 18 years stopped by him and offered him to take him home. He was delighted and immediately accepted the young man's offer. On their way, the young man asked, "What's your name sir?" "Oh never mind now, you will find out soon." the old man replied. The guy was amazed at his reply so he asked again. "What do you mean sir?" But instead of answering his question, the old man said, "You have a good heart young man. And I can feel your kindness. Keep it up for you will be rewarded." The young man trembled, then the old man told him to pull over so he can step out of the car. The young man stopped and the old man alighted. And before he drove away he asked again, "So what's your name sir?" The old man answered, "I am God." Then he disappeared. ---------- Moral Of The Story ---------- Don't pass an opportunity to help people. What you do to your fellow, you do it to God.
---------- The Pet Lover ----------
James was a highly fashionable, sophisticated guy who loved to care for the animals. He bought dogs and cats of the highest breeds. He cared for them a lot that he spent so much of his time and money on them. He even built small but expensive houses for his pet dogs and cats. And he fed them with the highest quality pet foods anyone could find in the market. His pets made him happy and felt they make him a better person. But one thing he didn't realize was he became more unloving and unkind to his fellow humans. All his love and all his attention are already focused on his pets.
One Monday morning,
he heard a knock on the gate of his house. He was seated on the porch playing with his cats who have been very playful all around the house. So he stood up and went to see who was behind the gate. There outside was a poor man who immediately smiled at him the moment he opened. And seeing this filthy old man, he went mad and screamed at the top of his voice "Go away!" and shut the gate behind him. At that very moment, the poor man got teary eyed and his heart was broken. He stood to where he was a little while longer, then he left. He went to another house and begged again. Fortunately, the owner of the other house gave him some food and some coins. This made him happy, and thanked the owner of the house for being generous. Then he left with a great smile. Meanwhile, the pet lover went back to his pets and resumed playing with them. He laughed and laughed and he was very happy. He was overwhelmed with gladness every time he bonded with them. And that was all he cared about. One fine December morning, he got very sick. He had a high fever, and he couldn't move around much. He went to his doctor for treatment. But everyday he got sicker and weaker. He called some of his friends, but they were too busy to attend to him. Then he called his neighbors but still they didn't come to his aid. But all his pet dogs and cats gathered around him every time but he was not comforted at all. Nobody cared about him except his pets. And finally he died alone. ---------- Moral Of The Story ---------- It's good to care for the animals, but it's so much better if you care for your fellow humans first and foremost!
---------- The Unmindful Neighbor ----------
A lonely poor man lived beside a rich man's house. He lived alone in an old, rotten wooden house that had been standing for quite some time already. Everyday he went to the rich man's gate to beg for money, so he could buy some food for himself. And no matter how hard he tried, he was not given anything. The rich man always sent him away for he couldn't bare to look at the poor man's condition - rugged, filthy with open wounds on most parts of his body, not to mention the smell he caused. Humbly he walked away thinking to himself that someday the rich man may change his ways and may offer him something already. But as time and time passed, the poor man never received any other than the usual tyranny from the rich man.
All his life he lived miserably,
with no money and no family to lean on to. Everyday his health was failing, his body becoming weaker and weaker. And one time, when he couldn't bare the pain in his body any longer, he stayed home all day. He laid down on the broken floor, and stared on the roof of his house. He prayed silently to God thanking Him for the life that he had been living ever since; that no matter what, he will always be thankful to the very end. Then he closed his eyes and slept. But he never woke up again. Then Angels came to him and took him to Heaven where he ate in the feast in the Kingdom Of God. He will live happily forever and ever, free from pain and sorrow. Back on earth, the rich man got richer and richer but still the same tyrant he was known for. Then he became old, got sick and died. His body was taken to Hell where he will be tormented day and night forever and ever. ---------- Moral Of The Story ---------- The Kingdom Of God in Heaven is for those who are always thankful to him even when living miserably here on earth while Hell is prepared for those who stored up riches but never cared for their fellow men.
---------- The Inconsiderate Rich ----------
Sacred Heart High School was a catholic school administered by Nuns. It was the best school in the region and nothing could beat it or even came close to its standards. Everybody from all classes of society was welcome to enroll - rich, middle-class, poor and even students who were non-Catholics enjoyed its world-class facilities.
Miranda was a hottie, and the most famous girl in high school.
She was the one and only child of a wealthy family living in the city. Her father owned a mortgage company and some other businesses. She was smooth all over, and her hair flowed like it had been showered with olive oil the whole time. Very attractive, very fashionable. She went to school with an escort and a maid to carry her belongings. Riding in a limo, she always opened the window to show to everyone how rich she was. Everybody looked at her in amazement every time she was around. No one could compare to her style and class. Everybody just seemed to shy away from her. But everything good about her was nothing compared to what her attitude showed - she was a very mean, spoiled and rich girl who didn't care about people not her level! And everybody hated her for that! But no matter how high she felt about herself, it seemed that fate had a hand in pulling her down when everything was too much already. For only in a few years time, the world economy came tumbling down - businesses slowed down, consumer spending were down too and jobs were lost. And it didn't spare the businesses of Miranda's family. They were having a hard time coping with the weaker economy, until such time that their businesses stopped - they went bankrupt! Having no more funds for school, Miranda worked in a burger chain to help family earn some living. Her parents tried to start from what was left of their wealth, when only a few years ago they had plenty. And Miranda was no longer the classy, fashionable hottie people used to know. She was completely down-to-earth, humble, kind and friendly to everyone. And time after time, she experienced bitter comments from people whom she hurt before when she was still rich. But she just swallowed her pride, and accepted whatever was thrown at her! ---------- Moral Of The Story ---------- When people despise you when you are rich, how much more when you become poor. On the positive side, better change yourself for good even if it seems too late than to never change at all.
---------- The Strict Businessman ----------
In the middle of a big booming metropolitan area stood a high tower of steel and glass. Its presence was filled with majesty and magnificence. Anyone who passed by it was awe-stricken and dumbfounded. And who wasn't? The skyscraper was the tallest and the grandest ever built in the city!
At 35 years old, 5'7" and well-built physique was Brandon Wahlberg -
the Chairman and CEO of a software company who owned the building. He himself was a drop-dead gorgeous life-form who was ever-loved by anyone who saw him - but not any of his employees! He was a mean-tempered guy who cared no one but himself. He was very much conceited, and his ego was ever high all the time. He always felt he was on top of everyone else in all the world. One working day, on a sunny afternoon, he got mad in his office. He looked at his table with all the mess and the papers. He couldn't imagine why his 50-year old secretary couldn't even clean out the clutter. He was fuming mad, and hurriedly called the utility. A moment later, Mrs. Roberts, her secretary, arrived looking nervous. Then he yelled at her with all his strength that left Mrs. Roberts trembling and crying. But that didn't stop him from doing even worse. He wanted to fire her! He wanted her to get out of the room immediately. But before she left, she stood in front of him and looked him in the face. "I have enough of this Mr. Wahlberg. I can't take this anymore. If only you have a heart then people around you will love you and will work for you faithfully." she said strongly. Then she left. At that very moment, Mr. Wahlberg was stunned! He felt he couldn't move. He couldn't even speak. He was bothered by what she just said. He just couldn't believe somebody talked to him that way. He sat in the office for hours and hours thinking about what happened, even went beyond to reflecting all his life and all he had been doing. "Why am I like this?" "Why I easily get mad?" he asked himself repeatedly. "I am blessed with good looks, high intelligence and with everything a man could ever want, but I feel there's something missing." was all he can say to himself. So the following day, he went to church to reflect more and pray hard. He wanted to be enlightened, he wanted to know what was lacking in his life. Then he went home sad and lonely and not feeling good at all. At night, he was not able to sleep right away for he was being bothered by what he did to her secretary who had been with him for so long already. He felt it wasn't right to treat her that way. He closed his eyes but suddenly he got up from his bed and stood near his window. He looked out to the night sky which was full of stars and the moon shining brightly on the horizon. "If only I find someone who I will fall in love with tremendously, then my whole life and everything will change." he prayed and hoped silently. ---------- Moral Of The Story ---------- Even if you have all the looks and all the wealth in the world, life is not complete without love.
---------- The Child Who Never Wants To Play ----------
In a small and progressive town in the south, lived a family of a doctor-husband and a nurse-wife. They both worked in the same government hospital in the town. They had been married for 6 years already, and had only one child who was 5 years old. A babysitter was hired to look out for him
The child's name was Bradley, very handsome and very cute little darling.
He had a robust form, and anyone could see that he had very good health. With lovely eyes and kissable little lips, he could easily get close to anyone who noticed him even the first time. He was adorable and a kind of shy type of a child. His mom and dad were busy working day and night in the hospital attending to patients who were not just from the town but from nearby and far areas. Around the neighborhood, children were playing day after day, laughing and having so much fun. But little Bradley just stayed at home, and sometimes went near their gate to watch the kids at play. He didn't want to mingle, even though he smiled every time he saw some kids running around enjoying under the sun. He was always like that - sad and lonely, and always wanting to be alone. Then one day, his parents arrived home and noticed him in the garden. There he was, sitting on the grass all by himself. When he saw them, he smiled a little then turned back to his sad face. A sudden feeling of care and concern struck both the parents. They helped him get up, and the father couldn't help but carry the boy in his arms. Bradley was teary-eyed already and just hugged his father tight. "What's the matter baby?" asked his dad. "I feel so all alone dad." he replied. "And why? Your mom and me love you so much." "But you both are always at work. I feel nobody cares for me." Bradley said with a sad voice. "That's not true baby. We work hard for you and your future." his mom said reassuringly with tears in her eyes. Then they went inside the house and cried so much when both parents realized how wrong they were to just work and work without even realizing they were missing time with Bradley. And so from then on, they promised to spend so much more time with Bradley than ever before. And they made sure that the child was taken care of every single day. And since that time, Bradley was no longer the shy type of a child, and he was no longer sad and lonely. He just wanted to play! ---------- Moral Of The Story ---------- Working too hard for the money makes you overlook the important things in life.
