---------- The Inconsiderate Rich ----------
Sacred Heart High School was a catholic school administered by Nuns. It was the best school in the region and nothing could beat it or even came close to its standards. Everybody from all classes of society was welcome to enroll - rich, middle-class, poor and even students who were non-Catholics enjoyed its world-class facilities.
Miranda was a hottie, and the most famous girl in high school.
She was the one and only child of a wealthy family living in the city. Her father owned a mortgage company and some other businesses. She was smooth all over, and her hair flowed like it had been showered with olive oil the whole time. Very attractive, very fashionable. She went to school with an escort and a maid to carry her belongings. Riding in a limo, she always opened the window to show to everyone how rich she was. Everybody looked at her in amazement every time she was around. No one could compare to her style and class. Everybody just seemed to shy away from her. But everything good about her was nothing compared to what her attitude showed - she was a very mean, spoiled and rich girl who didn't care about people not her level! And everybody hated her for that! But no matter how high she felt about herself, it seemed that fate had a hand in pulling her down when everything was too much already. For only in a few years time, the world economy came tumbling down - businesses slowed down, consumer spending were down too and jobs were lost. And it didn't spare the businesses of Miranda's family. They were having a hard time coping with the weaker economy, until such time that their businesses stopped - they went bankrupt! Having no more funds for school, Miranda worked in a burger chain to help family earn some living. Her parents tried to start from what was left of their wealth, when only a few years ago they had plenty. And Miranda was no longer the classy, fashionable hottie people used to know. She was completely down-to-earth, humble, kind and friendly to everyone. And time after time, she experienced bitter comments from people whom she hurt before when she was still rich. But she just swallowed her pride, and accepted whatever was thrown at her! ---------- Moral Of The Story ---------- When people despise you when you are rich, how much more when you become poor. On the positive side, better change yourself for good even if it seems too late than to never change at all.
