Walking and jogging are two exercises
anyone can easily do anytime. They can be done around the house or somewhere else, in the streets or in some park or long stretches of the beach.
The Good
We've known for ages that walking and jogging are great for the body, can greatly improve blood circulation, can lower blood pressure and very good for the heart. Both exercises can be done outdoors in parks and nature. It's possible to do them at home too provided you have a spacious courtyard or lawn. You can control how you walk or jog and for how long. You can walk or jog leisurely or recreationally without rules and if you want to level up a little, you can take along carrying some weights that are not too heavy and easy to carry around. Make sure you sweat all along a lot so that most of those toxins are flushed out of your body, including alcohol and cholesterol. You feel better afterwards and give you a better mood because so much bad elements are released from your body. And you'll feel lighter all over like a burden has been removed.
The Bad
Air pollution is your number one enemy when doing these exercises because you tend to breathe more and faster the whole time. A walk or a jog down the side of the road sounds and looks good because while doing it, your senses will feast on the urban landscapes and the city structures and buildings. A well-paved sidewalk lined with trees is a great place for walking and jogging in the morning or afternoon. But sad to say, you can't avoid breathing in the fumes or smoke from vehicles passing you by on the road. And even when you go to parks somewhere in the city, air pollution still catch up with you but so much less. Every time you inhale polluted air during exercises, the health benefits will be cancelled out and the whole thing is doing more harm than good to you and your body. The best places to do your exercises where there is less air pollution, are at home and in the gym. Or you can go to the countryside, a good distance away from the city where there are parks full of plants and trees that will let you breathe a fresh and uncontaminated air.
