In Loving Again
I'm like a Phoenix rising from its ashes
That in one moment it died
But in a flash it lives again with a new beginning
I'm like the falling rain that eventually returns to the clouds
Or the sunset becoming sunrise
After a heartache I love again
After my fall I stand up
I have been loved and rejected
Then I love again and feel blessed
That after my downs and ups
After I failed I survive still
Much like a rainbow after a storm
A bright sun in the early morn
The old is then replaced with something new
A heart torn to pieces gathered again to make it whole
I'm like the Temple of King Solomon in ruins
Crumbling helplessly like a barren waste
Being rebuilt to be more magnificent
And more majestic than it always had been
Like the land of Atlantis
Sleeping beneath the deep abode of the ocean
Slowly rising back above the waters again!
I'm like a Phoenix rising from its ashes
That in one moment it died
But in a flash it lives again with a new beginning
I'm like the falling rain that eventually returns to the clouds
Or the sunset becoming sunrise
After a heartache I love again
After my fall I stand up
I have been loved and rejected
Then I love again and feel blessed
That after my downs and ups
After I failed I survive still
Much like a rainbow after a storm
A bright sun in the early morn
The old is then replaced with something new
A heart torn to pieces gathered again to make it whole
I'm like the Temple of King Solomon in ruins
Crumbling helplessly like a barren waste
Being rebuilt to be more magnificent
And more majestic than it always had been
Like the land of Atlantis
Sleeping beneath the deep abode of the ocean
Slowly rising back above the waters again!
