You two used to be very much in love with each other
that you were seeing yourself ending in church, married and living happily ever after.
But things turned out differently and you didn't fully know why.
Love was there but it never flourished for long even when you knew all along that love is immortal; it will never die. You worked hard for it, you prayed for it but still it didn't last for a lifetime; it died when you never wanted it to.
And you always thought that what you both had was forever.
But now, you're faced with the truth that the one you always love does not love you anymore. You never thought this would ever happen but it's happening right in your face! You'll be always reflecting on where the relationship went wrong. And even if you did try to save the relationship, still it failed. How are you going to handle then? For sure, you will cry day and night and be depressed for so long thinking that there's no relief in sight. You want to acknowledge the fact that you're losing the one you love but it's just so hard. But there's nothing left to do but to accept it and let go. This seems impossible at that very moment but it will be possible in time. Nothing lasts forever in this world, not even serious relationships. Even when two people are madly in love, things can turn sour someday. If they change and become different people in the future, then the love they have now can no longer be found. Time does so much for each one, and it may be for good or bad. Nobody fully understands the nature of love that's why all of us fail so much when it comes to love and loving. Love is ever awesome and mysterious and unfathomable and the only One Who knows everything about love is God.
You love today but tomorrow you don't.
Laugh now but cry later on. That's very common situation among people falling in love. Moments of happiness become moments of pain and misery. Just think of it as a raging storm that will just pass you by. Family and friends can offer comfort but they can't relieve your pain. At this point in your life, call on God and ask for some enlightenment on your situation because everything that happens is always for a good reason. Who knows, the one you always love may not be the one meant for you, that somebody else was created just for you. And always remember these: Even if the one you love no longer loves you now, don't be angry or show any ill feelings. Many times when relationship ended, lovers exposed each others weaknesses, but when it was still going strong, they were blinded by each other's shortcomings. Don't follow that and never let it enter your mind. Be strong and courageous enough to accept reality. No negative shots fired straight to the one you love. If you feel like crying any moment, then don't hesitate. Cry and cry your heart out until all the tears have flowed. Pray always that you will endure. There's always life after love, just don't give up. God will forever be the best healer of a broken heart, and no one else is, not even your very own family or friends. When you never stop praying to Him, you will come to understand why things happened the way they did and then you will be relieved and fully recover.
