Parts of Cebu, Philippines were hit by Supertyphoon Odette on the night of December 16, 2021, damaging buildings and pulling off roofs of houses and other structures. No water, no electricity for several days in some areas, and several weeks in others. There were long queues in gasoline stations, water refilling stations, banks and ATMs.
