Filipino Catholic devotees once again got up very early on December 16, 2018
to attend the very first day of yearly tradition - Misa de Gallo at the Basilica Minore del Santo Niño in Cebu City, Philippines.
Surprisingly, it took a longer time to fill the whole place up than it did a year ago,
but still it drew a very huge crowd at such a very early time of the morning. The Holy Mass started around 4:30 AM but there were already devotees who came waiting outside hours earlier - devotion of the highest level!
The Blessed Virgin Mary Of Guadalupe, Cebu City
was paraded around the Guadalupe Church where she's enshrined on the eve of her fiesta on December 12, 2018 attended by hundreds of devotees.
Only motorcycles were allowed to travel the road since it was packed with people
starting from the Guadalupe barangay hall up to the Guadalupe Church. Vendors were allowed on either side of the road with so many people crowding shoulder to shoulder. And the night before that was also a solemn procession along V. Rama avenue.
The miraculous Heart Relic of Saint Padre Pio was brought to Cebu City
and stayed at the Metropolitan Cathedral on October 11, 2018 with hundreds of devotees welcoming it with thankful hearts.
People lined up for hours to get close to and touch the glass that enclosed the relic.
The miraculous heart relic is known to cure illnesses and ailments of devotees who have very strong faith in the power of God to heal through the saint.
