Images Of All Saints' Day 2014 In Calamba Cemetery,
V. Rama Avenue, Cebu City, Philippines Pilgrims and catholic devotees all over the Philippines come to this massive church complex south of the city of Cebu, Philippines to offer their thanksgiving prayers and petitions anytime of the week all throughout the year. The center of the devotion of the people is on the miraculous statue of the Virgin Mary, mother of Jesus Christ our savior, who said to have appeared on the site decades ago. Believe In Yourself The church is in Simala, Sibonga a few hours to the south of the city of Cebu. Anyone can get there by bus or van in Cebu's South Terminal. As of this year 2014, the fare for the bus is about 60 pesos compared to the van which is 100 pesos but will take you right at the parking area of the church. The bus just drops along the highway where a lot of pedicabs await visitors going up to the hills where the church is located. Either way, one can get there safely. Believe In Happy Ever After The church itself boasts of a well-painted ceiling of heavenly images and the Virgin Mary. And right above the altar is where the miraculous Virgin Mary is kept. To the left of the church is where the entrance to the Virgin Mary is located, and along the hallway are things (such as crutches used by disabled people) displayed as proofs of their healing. There are also letters wrote by people who had been healed in various illnesses or granted with their petitions and prayers. This entire area of the church is a source of hope for everyone who comes along to visit. There are countless letters of thanksgiving being displayed here to let people know that this church is truly a miraculous one. That no matter what our concerns are, what diseases we have, or how hard our problems are, we can be helped and there's always hope. It's like there is no impossibility. But we have to bear in mind that the granting of petitions and prayers does not always depend on this church alone but on the kind of people we are and what is in our hearts. God will never listen to anyone who has selfish motives. If our petitions and prayers are for the good of everyone, or at least a lot of people not just ourselves, then surely God listens and grants. Merry Christmas!
