The Oscars 2016 is the 88th ceremony
and hosted by Chris Rock at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles, California on February 28. After the nominations were announced, this year's Oscars gained a lot of criticisms from the media and actors in hollywood because of the lack of diversity among the nominees in major categories, the nominees in these categories were all white actors and snubbing black actors in the process. Soon after, the hashtag #‎OscarsSoWhite‬ exploded on social media and netizens voiced their criticisms on the white list of actors. We must stand in our power!
