What Is A True Friend?

​A true friend doesn't approve of you
when you make mistakes,
when you're wicked
and involved in wrongdoing.

What a true friend is.

​​He will always advice you
to be good and to do good.
When he sees you
going the wrong way,
he will immediately guide you back
to the right road.
He cares about you all the time
and always there for you
when you need him.

He's a good influence
and give you good company.
You can trust him with your secrets
but he will never tolerate your vices.
When you're engaged in a fight,
he will take sides with you
as long as you're in the right,
but when you're in the wrong,
then he will not do so
for it's the right thing to do
even if you're his friend.
Don't get mad at him 
when this happens
because he's a true friend
and it's for your own good.
He doesn't want you to be bad
but wants you to change your ways.

He will never tolerate you 
every time you misbehave,
when you're arrogant and proud,
when you're harsh and cruel,
when you're mean
or disrespectful, etc.
And he will do it privately,
just between you two,
so no one else overhears.

If you have such a friend,
keep him because he's true.
Then you will live
a long and happy life
​with less worries.
A true friend 
is a true blessing,
someone sent from heaven.
