It's the time of the year again
when everything seems to glow
and get more meaningful.
No other time compares to it.
when everything seems to glow
and get more meaningful.
No other time compares to it.
It's different when it's Christmas.
You feel it inside and out
that it's merry and happy
and everybody feels the same way too.
The air is thick with love,
and everywhere you go
you smell it even though you don't see it.
Love is invisible but you can easily know
it's there especially this time of the year.
You can never miss it.
And there's no way you can ignore it.
One wonders why Christmas brings
a sudden change of atmosphere -
from one that's sad to one that makes you glad,
from one that feels lonely to one that makes happy.
And it's been like that for years and years already.
You want to spend it with loved ones -
those people you care about for very long time.
You want to be with them all throughout the season.
You want to party with them and eat with them.
Not a single moment is to be wasted.
You feel you miss them even
more this time than anytime of the year.
But we have to remember
the most important thing about Christmas.
It's the birth of the Son Of God,
our one and only Savior Jesus Christ who came into being
to save us all from our wrongdoings.
He came to remind us that Someone Supreme loves us
and has been loving us ever since the universe began.
One may think that this isn't so, but it is.
We have a Supreme God ruling over
our very lives every minute of the day.
We may think we have control of our lives,
but we don't.
It only appears so.
You feel it inside and out

We may think we have control of our lives,
but we don't.
It only appears so.
But the fact is,
we can always do and plan for anything
but God has the final say.
There's no way we can achieve anything
unless God wants us to,
and there's no way we can have
what we wish for if God refuses.
Whether we get what we want or not,
we should accept that.
As long as we live, we should praise Him,
thank Him, and the hardest part,
obey Him in His commandments.
We can't do it all right away,
but we can always try little by little
with hope in our hearts.
After all,
that's what we were all created for.
We are no more than clay,
and God is the Potter.
He shapes us into anything He wants
and we have no right to complain
about the His way of doing things.
He is perfect, and all He does is perfect too.
There's nothing that we can contribute -
nothing to add to Him and nothing to subtract.
So never forget that Christmas
is a time for love and a time for God.
Love is God in the first place and vice versa.
And loving God is loving one's fellowman too.
This is also the time to give
and share even with the little we have
and the time to hope that
the coming year will be a better one.
