A dancing gorilla named Lope
was filmed in Twycross Zoo.
Lope looks a lot
like a dancing ballerina, twirling and twirling around until he falls down. Some say this could be indicative of a bored animal inside what looks like a not-so-spacious room in the zoo. But playing or dancing is a common thing for young gorillas even in zoos or in the wild.
Twycross Zoo
is renowned as a specialist primate zoo with a wide variety of apes and monkeys including the UK's only group of bonobos, in Norton Juxta Twycross, Leicestershire, England.
