Marriage is the union
between a man and a woman
who are in love with each other
and who decide to live together
and start a family of their own.
between a man and a woman
who are in love with each other
and who decide to live together
and start a family of their own.
It is a sacrament the Christianity upholds
that is highly regarded by every Christian
as very fundamental to planning a family.
It is centered on God
and built on the foundation of love
so that it will remain standing for a lifetime.
The man will leave his family
to be with the woman
and then live together
and become one in heart and mind
so that in every road in life,
they travel together in partnership
and stand by each other in good times and bad.
And when their marriage is blessed,
they will produce children according to plan
who will be just like them.
Traditionally,
marriage happens only between
a man and a woman
and not on two people
who have the same gender.
Two men can't be married to each other
and two women can't do the same thing.
Christianity and other religions
will never allow things like that
for it is considered immoral
and totally offensive to God.
Nowadays,
when homosexuality and lesbianism
are common in every society in the world,
same-sex marriage are supported by various groups
and powerful individuals like businessmen,
politicians and even celebrities
have been voicing out their support
through radio and TV
and even using social media
to treat it like the marriage between opposite sexes.
But marriage is a sacred ceremony blessed by God
through the officiating priest inside the church
and not by any man on earth
no matter how rich or powerful he may be.
There maybe instances
when marriage is done by a public official
and held in hotels, resorts and other public places
and not in the church
but still the ceremony retains the sanctity.
So how can God bless a union
when it's repulsive to Him in the first place?
We all have to accept the fact
that it is a sin to be homosexual or lesbian
for man was created to be with a woman
and not with another man
and so is the woman created to be with a man
and not with another woman,
so marriage between 2 same-sex people
is definitely sinning so much more.

Homosexuals and lesbians
and other members
of the LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender) community
are humans too with hearts and souls
who wishes to live normally like the rest.
Having struggled to keep their sanity
in the midst of criticisms and rejection
from family, friends and everyone else,
they try hard to excel in the fields of beauty,
entertainment among others
to gain acceptance and respect
along with humane treatment and equal opportunities.
They want to eliminate the chance
of being judged, bullied or discriminated.
But they have to be aware of the church's stand
against LGBT's all over the world
especially the Catholic Church
for it is only upholding God's laws
handed to us for thousands of years already.
Marriage is a sacred ceremony of union
between a man and a woman
with rituals observed inside the church
all in the presence of God.
And even if it's held outside the church
in hotels, resorts and other public places,
the ceremony is still done according to God's laws.
Members of the LGBT community
can still live together and become a family
with the blessing of their family and friends
but they can't have the blessing from the church
which is only doing what God commands.
We must spare the church
for it's the only holy place we have.
We can have laws here on earth
that is all upholding of our earthly desires
but we can't have a law
that deviates from what is right and proper
and against the laws of God.
They can get married if they want to
in hotels, resorts and other public places
but not in the church
because every ceremony held in church
must be in line with God's commands
and deserving of His blessing.
The pursuit of same sex marriage
goes beyond the ceremony
and now invading the legalities.
Gay couples along with various supporting groups
now lobby for same-sex marriage
to be given the same rights as opposite-sex marriages.
They want to be recognized by law
as husbands and wives who are family themselves,
who will be fully functioning,
tax-paying citizens
and who can have children through adoption.
There may be more states in America
that already legalized same-sex marriage
but we never have to forget
that it's not according to God's plan.
