about worldly wealth and riches ever since.
They can't help imagine
what it's like to afford all the luxuries
and all the expensive things.
and the more riches man has,
the more powerful and influential he becomes.
Back in the days of childhood,
every child had already dreamed
of becoming successful someday
by graduating in college with a degree
to land in a high-paying job,
or to be a businessman with a lot of earnings
and able to spend on properties and investments.
That's all the success they know and nothing else.
It's no success without the money
and even when one is dumb, ugly or sickly,
or never finished school,
as long as he's a highly paid worker
or the boss of a company
or the owner of a big business,
he still is considered successful.
Success simply can't be without the money.
It's been like that for years
and looks like it's not going to change.
working hard for the money
is what this life is all about
for no one can own anything without it
and nothing out there is free.
One has to pay money to get what he wants
and the more money he has,
the more things he can own.
But he will never be satisfied
with any amount of money
and he will keep wanting more
as long as he lives.
That's the kind of trap money sets for everyone.
Parents also make choices for their children
and influence the course of their dreams
which are all towards the money.
Even with choosing what school to enroll in,
private schools which are a lot more expensive
seem to be the better choice
and thought to be producing better graduates
than public schools.
the better schools,
if not the best,
are a sure shot to a bright future.
But public schools are catching up with the times
and the students too are no longer left behind
with improved public school amenities
and with the Internet age where all students have access.
The future of the children
no longer depend on the schools they graduated from
but from their hard work and determination
to get want they want.
Dreams are nothing like reality
for they only exist in the minds of people.
They become real when they are fulfilled
and when people are living in them.
But the roads are rough and tough
and lots of times,
going up and down and left and right.
There's no straight and smooth road,
for all are treated
with the same bumpy and rugged ride.
There's no easy way to get hold of those dreams
but to work and toil and to sweat them all out.
The reward of having money in the end
is worth the energy and the efforts,
and this is how worldly or materialistic people think
as far as dreams are concerned.
Nothing else matters but money
and the pursuit of money and dreaming
always go together
and often thought of as one and the same.
But they are all wrong definitely.
Dreaming is not all about the money
for there are dreams out there
that no amount of money can buy.
Intelligence is way too impossible for money to equal
for it needs enough education, a lot of reading,
browsing the web, traveling and considerable experiences
and all these will take years
that not quite a number of people can achieve.
And with physical beauty,
a must dream for one who lacks,
he can opt to go to doctors and surgeons
to be transformed into someone beautiful
but the results are fake enough to be noticed
and clearly seen as unnatural.
One is fortunate if born naturally beautiful
for a simple regimen is enough.
And concerning health and wellbeing,
oftentimes neglected or ignored,
is a dream that should be bundled
with dreaming of money
for clearly in going after the money,
people mess up and get sick
and can be subjected to physical and emotional stress.
Many businessmen rely on their business tactics
that involve greed and selfishness along with deception
that could possibly put everyone else out of business.
Intelligence, beauty and health no longer matter to them
for they are all shrouded with their pursuit of worldliness.
Their everyday thoughts are filled with money-making strategies
and this goes on even when they're already in bed.
Their sleep will never be the same again
and they will never know about a good night's sleep
unless they slow down their pursuit of money.
Their time is spent on planning
and in coming up with new ways to make money.
They worry their way to sleep late at night
but get up early the following day
to make more time doing business.
if one works hard in doing business
coupled with a strong determination to make it big,
his business will bring him money
and he will become rich.
And when he accumulated enough,
he will be tempted to diversify and invest in other businesses
which will profit him more and make him richer.
If one is a worker,
he will do his best to perform
and hopefully get a promotion
so that he will earn a higher salary.
If he keeps on dreaming,
he can possibly get the highest position
and can become the boss of the company.
He will be fortunate if his dream is fulfilled.
But face reality,
his coworkers have the same goal as he has
and it will be a tough competition among them
like a race to get to the finish line.
And only one can make it first
while the rest will be left behind.
While being aware of the competition,
he will do his best to outperform everyone else
to get to the top.
If he is humble,
he will sport a fair and friendly competition
and he will be content if he loses.
But if his greed catches up with him,
he will try devious ways to get ahead of the pack.
He will change for the worse to get what he wants
all because of his pursuit of money.
There's also something else that goes with money;
it's the fame
and it could be good or bad.
when one is rich,
he's known or recognized by many.
Doing business is interacting with people
and the bigger the business,
the more people are involved.
This is where his influence begins to set.
If he is an honest businessman,
he becomes a role model for others to follow
making him a good influence.
But if he's acting from earthly motives,
he will be despised by everyone.
Money is good when earned in decency and in legality.
But earning it the other way is evil.
It will rule one's life like a tyrant
that he can't oppose or go against.
He will become its slave doing everything it wishes.
And as time passes,
he will be bound tighter to its control
that he will never have the chance to break free.
Wickedness will become of him and he will be condemned.
Money will put him to the highest plane
but no sooner he will fall heaviest to the ground.
And that will be the end of him.
What he thinks is his power in the beginning
will turn out to be his ultimate doom.
Money is something that was never meant to be
for the earth and everything in it is free for everyone.
No one owns anything in this world but God.
We can only use anything from nature for our needs
but we don't have any right to profit from it.
That was how it was well-planned by God in the beginning.
To dream is free
and in the course of dreaming,
one is able to do anything.
He can fly as high as an eagle
or swim to the deepest ocean like the whales.
He can be as handsome as he wants to be
or become as powerful as the gods.
Everything is easily fulfilled in dreaming
and nothing is impossible.
A dream is another world where all fantasies spring to life
and instantly becomes magical.
But the moment one wakes up as if from sleep,
everything goes back to what is real
and he instantly realizes that he is only dreaming.
He will be frustrated for a moment
but he will get back to the real world in no time.
And all he will be wishing then
is to turn every moment of that dream into reality.
The dreams of the worldly and the materialistic
are all about worldliness which are riches and power
and these two bring along greed, selfishness
and everything else pertaining to evil.
While they make for comfort and luxury,
they are oppression and misery to everyone else.
But the dreams of the righteous and the godly
are the pursuit of virtues and morality
and all the good things pleasing to the Father Almighty.
Their dreams bypass worldliness and materialism
and bring vast spiritual or heavenly riches.
