Every time you do something,
you get something in return whether it happens that day or in the days, weeks or months or even years to come.
What you do
is what you will get too, what you give is what you'll receive. You reap what you sow, you harvest what you plant. That's karma. When you do good, then good will come to you. If bad, then that's what you will get. And the more you do, the more you will get, and the less you do, the less you will get. Life's like that and there's no way to change it. God made it that way ever since. Even if you give a little, you can be sure to get something in return. And think about doing something extraordinary like giving to the poor. It's hard to do and you may think you can't just share that easy because your money is hard-earned. But giving to the poor is like saving money in the bank. In time you will earn interest. You will be saved from troubles. Remember that poor people can't pay you back, and when you think about getting what you give them in the future, how will you receive it when the poor can't pay you back? It's God who will do the payback so that the phrase "what you give, you will receive" will remain true. And when God does the payback, what do you get? You will get more than what you give. That's what I think will happen. When you give, don't wait for Christmas or some other holidays. Make it a daily habit if you possibly can. And even if you're having a hard time, or when your savings almost run out, be sure to give something even a little. Giving to the poor even when you're in need yourself will assure you of more blessings to come. It's like what you give will be multiplied many times.
