The Queen Of Pop?
People think Madonna only influences females and gays
but they're wrong.
A lot of men too, and I'm talking about straight men.
musician and performer
who is considered the greatest
female recording artist of all time.
She holds a lot of records
in Guinness World Records
including best selling female artist
with sales of at least 300 million records worldwide.
She is so successful that a lot of famous and younger artists
like Britney Spears and Lady Gaga follow in her footsteps.
She is also the highest-grossing solo touring artist of all time
having accumulated $1.4 billion
excluding her ongoing Madame X Tour.
And after more than three decades of international superstardom,
she is still as successful and relevant as ever
with her recent hit Madame X album
and her ongoing Madame X all-theater tour.
It's clear Madonna has a huge influence on girls and women alike
who see her as a mighty force in female world domination
and she has an indestructible gay followers everywhere.
But what's interesting to note is her somewhat
unbelievable influence on straight men.
Straight men look up to her as a shrewd businesswoman
who is the master of her life, career and destiny
and amassing tons and tons of money in everything she does.
She doesn't want to be in anybody's shadow;
she's her very own boss.
She doesn't follow; she leads.
And even if she listens to what you suggest,
she always has the final say.
People may see her as arrogant and conceited,
but partly because she's been staying in the limelight for decades already,
so she already knows what she always wants
and where she wants to go and what to do.
She may have been up or down, getting highs and lows,
but she's staying and she meets the demands of time.
Even if her music nowadays doesn't top the charts like she used to,
it's new, adventurous and pushing boundaries.
It's a testament to her courage and determination
to explore beyond the common and usual
even if it means low sales or chart bomber.
Her music now is not really bad;
it's just that she purposely evolves it and twists it.
And many times was told to stop, to retire and attend to her family
but I couldn't imagine music without Madonna.
At 61, she still has the superfit physique she's been known for
that lets her outdance, outsing and outperform other artists
to the point of putting them all to shame.
And with her unfailing desire and determination
to remain on top of everyone,
she will definitely be around for the longest time
no matter how some people try to put her down.
If you're a straight guy,
don't you want to be like Madonna?
Maybe you don't want to sing and dance like her,
but at least you want to be as fit and toned
and determined to top any endeavor even when you're beyond 60.
