but now food in abundance in the fridge,
lived in dilapidated shelters
but now in grand homes with air conditioning,
empty pocket was a daily scene
but now owning accounts in several banks,
had to walk distances
but now the wheels drive you around.
how do you deal with life now?
Your happiness must be sky high
forgetting what life was like
when you couldn't afford anything.
You used to dream but now your living it.
How fortunate you've become!
But don't be too contented
because being rich is a big responsibility.
It's not all privilege.
You owe it all to God
and it's not your doing.
You must have been thinking all this time
that your hard work and determination
paid off but no.
God made you rich
so you can help the poor.
So now your turn to help.
The help you give
depends on how rich you are
and not on the amount you choose to give.
You might be too tight with your money and all
but don't let that sink into your mind.
You have to give a good amount
or else God will take away all you got.
The richer you become,
the more helpful you should be
and the more people you help.
There's no better sight to behold
than a rich man whose heart belongs to the poor.
No better investment anywhere else
because it's opening an account in God's own bank.
The river of blessings never ceases to flow
for the rich who give gladly to the poor.
Never be proud that you're rich now
because there's nothing to be proud about that.
It's just money and money is not everything.
It can all be gone in a flash
and you'll be surprised why.
Remember that you can't be rich by yourself alone;
there's always someone helping you out.
Your employees or workers and your customers
have all contributed.
So don't be puffed up with pride.
Remain rooted to the ground.
