your overspending and extravagant lifestyle
made you lose all you have
and even bury you in debts.
and it just blew up in your face.
Now it's so hard to accept
and so impossible to deal with.
You seem to lose your mind
unknowing where to start.
Everything's so heavy to bear
that you wanna give up.
It's like it was only yesterday
that you have so much,
that you could
afford every good thing there was
but today,
you don't even know
when your next meal will be.
Sad but this is true
and it happened too many times.
Some people have been working
their whole life
determined to get rich,
keeping busy in the morning
all through the evening
and going through sleepless nights.
But when they became successful
and they had all the money,
they splurged the whole time
on shopping and travel and dining out.
They even learned new vices
and knew how to gamble.
Worst,
they became proud and arrogant
and in no time,
poverty struck
and became miserable like before.
There was a family
who had been living in the slums
for a very long time
making it through street vending and peddling.
Time came
when they struck a lottery jackpot
and instantly became very rich.
But it never took very long for them
to go back to poverty
because they mismanaged
and overspent their money.
Knowing how to save for the future
was non-existent in their veins
and the only thing they thought was celebrating
for the millions they easily got
without the effort and the sweat.
There were some who won the lottery
and were able to enjoy it for years
but ended up in some bad deals and investments
and so life took them back to where they were before.
Sad but there was nothing they could do.
That's the reality in this life.
When you're given a great opportunity,
grab it right away
and take advantage.
Work hard on it
so that it will give you a better life.
But never misuse it.
Learn to save and research on financial management.
And try to seek advice
on how to invest on property or business.
Never change,
but be humble and share to others.
Life will take you to riches
or poverty in an instant
depending on
where you deserve to be.
