happened on the 13th of the month on a Friday,
and left more than a hundred people dead.
for the better,
it's always for the worse.
When innocent people die
and the reason is not known
for some guys to kill,
then it's something
that must not be tolerated
anywhere in the world.
Governments should tighten security
so much more than ever
when these things occur.
Terrorists and terrorism
put whole cities in turmoil
and businesses become paralyzed.
And all people have is fear for their lives.
I don't know for sure how terrorists
came into being
and how they organized themselves
and who supported their causes.
Some point to 1st world countries like the US
as the main reason
but this is not entirely known by the masses.
There are others who were not really terrorists
but they did it for the thrill,
or to make a name for themselves
or to fulfill something as requirement by their group.
They killed not because of hate
but simply for fun - to entertain and to amuse themselves.
They were totally out of their minds!
We don't know for sure when and where
the next massacre or shooting takes place.
These kind of people can easily slip through a crowd
armed and unnoticed by the authorities
and do the worst!
We should have very strict gun policies
so that not everyone can own guns
and only those who are permitted can own
like the authorities.
But why do people become violent
that they readily open fire and kill lives?
This we can trace back at home.
Home is where each is molded
to the kind of person he is today.
If violence, hostility or cruelty
are what he experienced with his family,
then those are the very things he offers back
to the society.
Parents who are cruel to their children
are likely breeding a cruel and violent people
in the future.
I know some people in my hood
who are now arrogant and proud
and who are always causing trouble anywhere.
They were not born that way
but I remember way back my younger years
that they were raised in a cruel environment
where all they knew were arguments and fights
among parents and other family members.
They were brought up in a broken home
and when they grew up,
they become the people they are today -
violent, quarrelsome, troublemaking, etc.
So how to deal with these type of people?
I don't know for sure.
It's just so hard when in your hood you encounter.
Keeping yourself away will not solve.
But one thing I know
is to not to judge them right away
or not to label them right there and then.
I simply look to them as victims
of bad family or parenting.
And one more thing I can do
is not to piss them in any way,
not to annoy or insult them,
never to ridicule them, etc.
I will always understand them.
Because when all you give your fellow
is all the positive things,
then one day,
he will show you the same positive things.
Positive always and forever
conquer the negative
as good always and forever conquer evil!
