The earth spins around its own axis
and at the same time revolves around the sun. It makes two distinct movements at the same time. And it's great to notice from a distance.
The earth is blue or bluish in appearance,
round like a smooth marble with some white shades. It must be the clouds swirling forever from one continent to the other, and from one ocean to the next. The gods have become accustomed to this for so long a time, and it must be forever for them. I believe they have been given the power to thwart the movements of all the heavenly bodies in the universe, or even just the affairs of the earth. Or have they taken part in the affairs of humanity before? Nobody knows that, and only they themselves know. But would those gods care enough to be involved with the affairs of humanity? Maybe, when humanity is going to far. But I suggest they just have to leave us alone to improve or to dilapidate like old buildings. The gods are real and they were only humans before but they have lived for a very long time and achieved a certain degree of wisdom and longevity that they became gods. We too will become gods if we don't die for quite a long while, maybe 200 years at least. If anyone can live that long now, he certainly will become a god. Imagine in your 30's, you've already grown to be wiser than you were in your 20's. And how much more if you live to be 200? Nowadays, if we say someone is in his middle age, he is probably at least 35 years old but no more than 60, for we consider him to live maybe 70 or a little later. But if we think of living 200 years, then the middle age will be around 100! And being 100 means you already have grown and achieved so many things in life, and have become far wiser than you can ever think of! How much more if we say we will live to be 500 years or more just like some prominent people in the Holy Bible? Noah lived 950 years, while Methuselah, one of his ancestors, lived 969 years and the longest ever. But did they really die, or God The Almighty took them to heaven by Himself for they were already qualified to be there for having lived for a very long time? I think so. I too want to live that long, and even longer. Nobody wants to die, unless you're very sick and in so much pain or that too many problems weigh you down that you opt for death already. But if you're not the quitter type, then why die? We humans have the power to die another day, or better, die some other time later but not today. And in other words, schedule your death in the distant future. Even if we got some ailment now, we can still live long if first we have the will to do so. Then if we change our lifestyles for the better, then certainly those ailments will be gone for good, and we will become healthy again. And is it nice to die because of some ailment or disease? Certainly not, and what a weak reason to die. I prefer to die in a battle or die because God just takes me away in a chariot of fire pulled by horses of fire! And if God takes you away in a whirlwind, then definitely you will go to Heaven or Paradise with Him.
But not too many people have gone that way.
I think only a very chosen few had. They must have been the purest, the humblest, the kindest, etc. that ever lived the planet. Among the billions of people now, how many do you think will be gone in the same unthink-of kind of way? Only God knows. As for the time being, we should live the kind of lives that we want to, even following our own desires. After all, we are the masters of our very own lives, and we have the accountability. To each his own, and to everything that we do is the knowledge of the consequences of our actions. When we do good, we take back good things. But when we do evil, then evil is what is waiting for us ahead. We know that we have to choose good over evil, but a lot of times, evil is what we are only capable of doing. We know evil is never good, and good is never evil, but still we do evil things and this is our clear weakness. We have the willing spirit to do good, but we have the weak flesh to do evil. That's why humanity in this day and age never live to be old enough like Noah and Methuselah. It seems that death is knocking at our doors every time we do wrong. And it seems that living in sin is the new in. And for a lot of civilized people in the world, it is the new lifestyle. We are definitely pulled down to the deepest ground for that way of thinking! When will we ever change? When will we ever realize that being good is the only thing that we have to do to achieve godliness? But honestly speaking, doing good or being good is the hardest to do in this life for with it should come from us the love, respect, kindness, charity, goodwill, benevolence and everything else that is good and positive. That is why it's definitely the hardest one to do for you will be doing too many things at the same time. Unlike doing bad or evil, there's only one way to do it. And it's so much easier. That's why they say that the road to hell is well-paved and wide, so a lot of people can travel. But the road to goodness or heaven is narrow and only few can fit in. But clearly, traveling the road to Heaven brings a lot of rewards, and in fact, so much that no one will be able to count them all. The rewards will be endless! That should be the way we will be going.
