A pyramid is any object or thing
whose shape is square or triangle at the bottom that gradually narrows to the top.
If its bottom is a square,
it will have 4 triangular sides, and if the bottom is triangular, only 3 triangular sides are formed. Unlike a circle which is the same all around, a pyramid varies in shape all throughout with a wide bottom and a narrow top. Hills and mountains are mostly shaped this way and even the roofs of houses and buildings have the shape of a pyramid. The pyramids of Egypt and in Mexico and in other places in the world are man-made marvels that bewilder and mystify even the greatest minds of our time, and how they were built, who built them and what their purposes are will never be known for a very long time. Looking at the pyramid closely reminds us of humanity's placement in society and in the whole world. If the whole humanity is a pyramid, then those on the top are the richest, those at the bottom are the poorest and those in the middle are the middle class. The wider bottom or base means that there are more poor people than middle class and rich people. Because the bottom of the pyramid supports the middle and the top and carries the weight of the whole structure, the poor support the middle class and the rich the same way. In other words, you can never belong to the middle class or the rich without the poor. The middle class and especially the rich may feel so high but they have to never forget that it's the poor who keep them up. Without the base, the pyramid can't soar high. Likewise, without the poor, the middle class and the rich can never be where they are. To keep the pyramid standing for all time, the bottom or base should remain intact and in excellent condition. There should be no loose stones or cracked parts that will crumble and bring the whole structure down. One little defect can undermine the integrity of the structure. In the same way too, the middle class and the rich should always think of the poor as important members of humanity by helping them in their needs. Losing them means losing all that makes them who they are. And to put in simple words for the rich and the middle class: Love the poor and the poor will love you back by supporting you like a pillar so that you will not fall down. Neglect them and the next thing you know you fall flat on the ground and eat the dust as you crawl along.
