you do things the hard way
when there is an easy way.
And you believe you can pull it off
because you think highly of yourself too much.
you don't know what lies ahead
and everything just blows up in your face,
and you will realize then
how wrong you were.
You did the whole thing the hard way
when there was an easy way.
But at least,
there is a great lesson learned:
You don't have to believe in yourself too much
simply because you don't know so much.
You're not perfect
and you will make mistakes along the way.
You made decisions thinking you were right
but finding it later on
that you were wrong.
You went straight your own way
believing you would succeed
but then you failed
because there was a detour,
that will make your life easy.
And then there were those times
when we made things complicated
when they were really simple to understand.
It's as if we went fishing in the middle of the sea
when the fishes were all right close to the shore.
And why climb a fence
when you can just slip through?
