There are stories about poor people
who became rich after some time. In the course of poverty, they were neglected and uncared for.
People around looked down on them
and all the time they felt miserable. But nobody knew what the future held for them and how time could change the course of their destiny. Because of their misery and the unforgiving treatment they got by people around, they learned to strive the hardest so they could no longer experience that harsh and cruel life anymore. And sure enough, they became wealthy and rich and lived a very comfortable life after years and years of determination and hard work. The life they had before was almost forgotten as if it never happened. But worst of all, they became proud and arrogant. At last, they said to themselves, "I'll get even with those who mistreated us." And so without hesitation, they came back to those people with vengeance taking over their hearts for the rest of their lives. At first thought, it seemed right that you have to get back to those people and let them know you're no longer the same person they used to oppress or hurt, that you have to show them what you've become and how far you've gone. But no, it's not right and it never does any good. You have to think about this: All those years of neglect, oppression, misery and all made you who and what you are today. They made you stronger and more determined to live your dreams. They made you grab every business opportunity, working long hours in the day and sleeping late at night. You might not realized it, but because of them, you became rich. So instead of vengeance in your heart, instead of taking revenge, show your gratitude to them for all the great things that have been happening ever since the day they hurt and caused you pain.
