a bad start for the whole week.
It used to be just the Monday blues,
but with the absence of
the rays of the sun in the horizon,
it is a totally uninspiring morning.
After waking up early to get ahead of the sunrise,
we get disappointed
with the sun being out of sight.
It should be there to put a smile in our faces,
to give us warm greetings
that the day has already begun.
It's like a sentry announcing the coming of another day.
But this day is different.
We feel like it's not a going to be a good day,
that it's gonna be full of frustrations.
We instantly have the feeling of insecurity,
that there's nothing good to look forward to
for the rest of the day.
It just shows how important to us is the sun
and the bright morning
to make us go about our day with gladness and confidence
that we're gonna have a productive
and fulfilling day ahead.
But this feeling is no good at all,
and it's not ideal for anyone.
We are down when the sun is down
and the dark clouds hover above our heads.
We feel gloomy and sad
when the day isn't bright.
We are greatly influenced
by the things around us,
as if we are dependent of their existence.
this is all about being weak
or weakness in the presence
of hardships and struggles.
And it's pretty bad thing for us.
Gloomy days should
make us stronger than usual,
more patient and more enduring.
It should push us more to the edge,
and make us braver and bolder.
It should bring out the better
or best in us to make us work harder
and fulfill more of our dreams than ever.
It's like a test of how far
we are gonna be in our journey,
how strong we are and how persistent.
And if we fail this test,
or if we give in to the influence of the gloomy days,
then we are nothing but losers.
We will find it very hard to achieve anything
for they are there anytime of our lives.
They just pop right on our faces
and if we are weak,
we get caught and we get trapped
in their powerful arms
without hope of getting free.
It's a sad fate.
The right thing to say is
we should be strong,
determined and confident everyday,
and be stronger,
more determined and more confident
during gloomy or dismal days.
This life always gives us
troubles along the way,
and it's all up to us to give in or fight back.
We must fight back and win the battle
and come out victorious
for this is a victory over gloom,
sadness and blues and everything else out there
that tend to put us down and be trampled on.
And right after our victory is the reward
of being transformed into
the best humans that we can be.
