after the great earthquake with a 7.8 magnitude have caused fear and panic not just in the country but in the rest of the world. Just days ago, Myanmar and Japan were shaken by deadly and devastating quakes and people are wondering if these chain of events continue to another country.

A magnitude 7.8 earthquake hit Ecuador
on April 16, 2016 Saturday night that left tens of people dead and hundreds more injured. And there could be more dead and injured as reports come in.
There was another quake in Kyushu Island, Japan
past 1:00 AM (April 16) early Saturday morning which was stronger than Thursday's 6.2 quake (April 14) making the latter quake a foreshock.

a 6.2 magnitude earthquake occurred north of Kumamoto on the island of Kyushu in southwest Japan. The strong quake toppled buildings and leaving several dead people and hundreds more injured. The death toll could rise with several reported aftershocks as search and rescue operations are still being conducted by authorities. The earthquake was 7.0 KM (4.3 mi) SW Of Ueki, Japan 9.0 KM (5.6 mi) SE Of Tamana, Japan 12.0 KM (7.5 mi) WNW Of Kumamoto-shi, Japan 18.0 KM (11.2 mi) N Of Uto, Japan 620.0 KM (385.3 mi) SSE Of Seoul, South Korea according to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS.GOV).
A 6.9 magnitude earthquake shook Myanmar
on Wednesday night of April 13, 2016 and was felt in parts of India and Bangladesh. According to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS.Gov) the epicenter of the earthquake is located some 500 km to the northeast of the Sunda Trench, where lithosphere of the India plate begins subducting to the northeast beneath Sunda and Eurasia. It was 74.0 km SE of Mawlaik, Burma 103.0 km NW of Shwebo, Burma 115.0 km NNW of Monywa, Burma 165.0 km W of Mogok, Burma 396.0 km NNW of Nay Pyi Taw, Burma.
