Supertyphoon Lawin (Haima)
is about to make landfall tonight October 19, 2016 or tomorrow morning October 20, 2016 in the northern parts of the Philippines. This supertyphoon is almost as strong as Yolanda (Haiyan) which hit the very populated eastern Visayas region killing thousands of people and leveling almost every structure in its path.
And as expected,
there will be heavy rains, storm surges, landlides and flooding in a lot of areas. Residents in the affected areas are advised to seek safe shelters or seek help from local governments and agencies which are monitoring the supertyphoon.
