arrived at Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral
past 10:00 AM yesterday.
dancers welcomed with ritual dancing
under the heat of the sun.
It gathered a huge crowd
that the church overflowed.
The mass was presided by Archbishop Jose Palma
along with other priests
and the mass ended past 12:00 noon already.
After mass,
there was a very long queue of people
who were eager to venerate the Heart Relic
which went down the street.
Literally,
thousands of people
had touched the Heart Relic
which was in cased in glass
and people just wipe the glass
with their handkerchiefs
or whatever they had with them
knowing that the Heart Relic
was a miraculous one.
It has been known to cure ailing people
with whatever disease they had
provided they believe in miracles
and they had faith in Almighty God.
At almost 8:00 PM,
a solemn procession
brought the Heart Relic
around downtown Cebu City
with hundreds if not thousands joining in.
Upon arriving back at the cathedral,
the very long line of people
wanting to touch and wipe to venerate
continued even up to late at night.
A healing mass followed after.

became famous for exhibiting stigmata
for most of his life,
thereby generating much interest and controversy.
He was both beatified (1999)
and canonized (2002) by Pope John Paul II.
