According to PAGASA Visayas director
Tropical Storm "Basyang"
and it maybe downgraded
to Tropical Depression this 11:00 AM.
Storms or cyclones
are now in five categories namely:
Tropical Depression (TD)
has wind velocity of about 61 kilometers per hour,
Tropical Storm (TS)
has wind velocity of 62 to 88 kph,
Severe Tropical Storm (STS)
has wind velocity of 89 to 117 kph,
has wind velocity of 118 to 220 kph,
and Super Typhoon (STY)
has wind velocity of at least 220 kph.
