Tropical Storm Queenie left a widespread devastation in many parts of the Philippines. According to NDRRMC (National Disaster Risk Reduction And Management Council), sometime on November 26. 2014, an LPA (Low Pressure Area) east of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur became a Tropical Depression named Queenie and made landfall on the same day between 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM in Surigao del Sur. A total of 13,182 families or 65,239 people were affected in 143 barangays in Regions IV-B, VI, VII, VIII, X, XI and CARAGA of which 211 families or 962 people are still in 7 evacuation centers.
