An ibex is a wild mountain goat with the ability to climb near vertical walls
without falling though they slip sometimes. It's the most sure-footed climbers on the planet maintaining balance even on narrow ledges or protrusions. Even local herd of goats can balance on poles and even climb small trees very easily. Wild mountain goats are just built for that vertical terrain.
Watch a group of ibex scaling a vertical dam
to lick the salts and minerals they need to stay alive and strong. They need those nutrients for their bones to grow, for their nervous system and muscles to function and to maintain movement and coordination without falter. And there's another one running down the dam as if it is just running on flat surface. Incredible!
