​Why paddle when you can pedal?

​This is a stand-up leg-powered board
that feels like doing an elliptical machine. Every step causes a fin under the board to paddle and the whole board then moves forward. Just wondering how intense this could be knowing that it's not that easy to pedal a paddle on water most especially when done at sea. Seawater is way denser than freshwater so more strength and energy is required. Maybe anyone using this should make sure not to get wet in the process because it's like doing leg workout that you need to rest for quite a while before hitting some water or bath. It sure is a very fun and exciting way to be in the water rather than just swim or dive. And also, wondering how stable this thing out at sea when considering the waves. So it's important to wear some life vests in case.
