compared to those cameras found on smartphones.
And they are big, bulky and expensive
besides being delicate to handle
and should be used with extreme care
for they can easily be broken with just one fall.
They are heavy enough to carry around
and it's a sure burden for a lot of people
most especially during travel.
They don't fit in the pockets
and must be carried inside some bags.
If all you wish for are the brightest images
and the most excellent videos around,
then DSLR cameras are for you
not minding the hassles in carrying them.
Smartphone cameras may not be
as excellent as those DSLR ones,
but their specifications have improved a lot
ever since they came out to the market.
And some claim that today's latest smartphone cameras
are on a par with those DSLR cameras
which make them exciting and inviting
for a lot of photography enthusiasts.
There are those smartphone cameras
with 41 megapixels and 50 megapixels already
enabling them to take better pictures and videos.
And the convenience in using them
is truly remarkable.
They can easily fit in the pockets
of our pants and short pants,
and they are easily carried around.
They are light-weight,
and their superior displays are not found on DSLR's.
And there's no need to worry
when the images and videos taken
are not as excellent as those DSLR's
because there are a lot of available free apps
that can be downloaded anytime from the web
that easily enhance the images and videos.
On the internet nowadays,
not everyone cares if the images or videos
were taken using DSLR's or smartphones,
only the professional photographers care much.
For the rest of us,
we don't care at all.
Nowadays,
the images and videos uploaded to the internet
are mostly coming from smartphones,
and that's more than half of them.
The traditional DSLR's are still there,
but because they don't offer
the convenience of a smartphone,
they are seldom considered already.
Their sales are plummeting,
and their prices have been down dramatically
ever since the rise of smartphone cameras.
And smartphone cameras
have evolved considerably every year,
not only because of the intense competition among companies,
but also because of the new technologies
that are very much available
and just waiting to be applied anytime.
There's no doubt that in few years' time,
smartphone cameras will perform
like those DSLR's or even better
because companies are focused on pefecting them
to drive their sales further.
We may no longer be needing DSLR's anymore
unless those companies making them
will come up with something lightweight,
with the convenience of smartphone cameras.
And much better if those companies
will invest in smartphones altogether
and not just focused on cameras
if they want to stay in business,
for clearly smartphones have taken a huge toll
on their earnings all over the world.
