Catholics here in the Philippines
are once again preparing for Misa de Gallo 2018 or the early morning Holy Masses for nine consecutive days beginning on December 16 and ending on December 24.
Thousands of Catholic devotees
will be sure to attend the whole nine days because it has been a Filipino tradition for so many years. It is believed that completing the nine days will reward anyone with answered prayers and lots of blessings and whatever he wishes for during this season will all be granted. It's a tough one to make for the Holy Masses begin earlier than usual at around 4:00 AM or 4:30 AM. The first day has always been drawing the largest crowd with churches filling up in the shortest period of time. But as the days go by, the churches won't fill up as quick as the first day simply because it's hard waking up very early. But there are those who have completed the nine days for many years already. Great job!
Just a friendly reminder for everyone
who's planning to attend the Holy Masses. The Church is a Holy Place built for humans to praise, worship and give thanks to God, and is not for recreation or strolling around like you do in the mall or in the park. Wear the appropriate or proper attire too. And if you go there with family or friends, minimize your conversations so that you won't be bothering or disturbing other people. Love and peace everyone! Have a Merry Christmas 2018!
