Ingrown nail cuts through the nail bed called paronychium
and creates a wound with a very foul smell. People say it is usually caused by a shoe that doesn't fit right and tend to squeeze the toes, while in some instances, a bad pedicure service could cause the problem. But ingrown nail can happen also with the fingernails, and often caused by bad manicure practices. What ever the reason for the disease is, there is surely a right way of treating and curing it. This nail disease may happen for weeks, and even months or years. Others have tried to get the services of the best manicure and pedicure around, but the results were only temporary. Once the nails start to grow, they still cut through the nail bed and create the same foul-smelling wound all over again. Almost two decades ago, I had this nail disease for years on both my big toes. Thankfully, it never happened on my fingernails. I had them for many years and it was such a terrible experience the whole time. I had to be very careful so nobody could step on them. But there were few instances, due to carelessness I think, my big toes accidentally hit a wall or some surface and gave me so much pain it left me to tears. Thanks be to God all the time, one fortunate day came that cured my ingrown nails for the rest of my life. I don't remember how I got to treat it that way, and don't remember reading it somewhere in magazines or anywhere. It just came to my mind. The thing was, I bought some penicillin tablets and ground them into powder and apply a generous amount on my big toes the entire time. I treat them in the morning after bath, in the afternoon and in the evening. There was always penicillin powder on my big toes every minute. There was never a minute that I didn't have the penicillin powder on both toes. And after few weeks, I was cured, believe it or not! It was that simple. And now, I'm forever free from ingrown nails. Hope everybody with the disease should do it like I did because it's the only effective way I've known to cure ingrown nails and banish it forever. If you don't have penicillin with you, you can use something antibacterial like a balm or an ointment. Mine was cured by penicillin powder alone.
