You wake up very early
in the morning and go to mass, praying with all your heart that you can make ends meet. And a lot of times crying because you just feel so desperate.
Nobody knows
what the future holds or where it's heading. But being positive and doing the right things will bring us all the good things.
Is it about money or riches,
about health, looks or intelligence? These are some of the things very difficult for you to achieve but something else is the most difficult.
Don't let food spoil
because so many people in the city and in the countryside have few or nothing left to eat because of poverty.
How often should you attend
the First Holy Mass? Once or twice a week maybe. But it's best to attend every day if possible.
Never be mad or sad
when you don't get what you prayed for. No matter how hard you pray, even if you cry much, God always has the final say. He knows if you deserve it or not.
How to be truly good?
How do you show true kindness, humility, respect, generosity, etc.? To be truly good is to do it with all gladness and sincerity with no hint of hypocrisy.
The richer you become,
the more humble you should be and the more people you should help.
Do you fear Friday the 13th?
Most people do. But if you have a strong faith, you must not fear at all.
How should a doctor treat a patient
the first time he sees him? Remember you're a healer, not a killer. You should offer hope and never a hint of hopelessness.
Your shopping sprees,
your overspending and extravagant lifestyle made you lose all you have and even bury you in debts.
When you judge yourself first,
you will never have the guts or the nerve to judge others because you will know that you yourself is worthy of judgment.
Comedy during homily
in Catholic Holy Masses is inappropriate and totally wrong. I maybe entertained, but that's not what I came to church for.
Used to be hungry most of the time
but now food in abundance in the fridge, lived in dilapidated shelters but now in grand homes with air conditioning, empty pocket was a daily scene but now owning accounts in several banks, had to walk distances but now the wheels drive you around.
Once in a while,
I go to church to confess because I feel the need to. I feel my heart is already filled up with wickedness and I'm always doing the wrong things.
I saw a poor woman
in ragged and dirty clothes entered the church. She immediately went straight to the bench and knelt down.
Look around you and you will clearly see
that there are so many poor people, in ragged clothes and dirty appearance, who beg around or wait for someone to receive something from to make it through the day. |
